klaklak is a chat site where people open a room and stay. There are no banners, no pop-ups and no tracking pixels - only a single line of text under the message box. You can have that line.
That is the whole format. It never appears inside the conversation, it never covers anything, and it never moves while someone is typing.
The numbers

Where that last figure comes from: a sponsor's line holds the place for 45 seconds before the next one, and the average visit lasts seven minutes, so one visitor sees roughly nine lines. (45 seconds is the shortest refresh Google Ad Manager allows for a slot, which is why we use it rather than something flattering. The two lines we run for ourselves when a place is unsold swap faster, and those are not counted in anything above.) We would rather show you the arithmetic than a round number you have to take on faith. Our audience is worldwide, with India and the United States the two largest countries.

There are four places in the rotation and never a fifth, so a Featured sponsor takes half of them and two Featured sponsors fill the site. That is also why Solo costs what it costs: it takes all four places at once, and it has to be worth more to us than a full house, or selling it would lose us money. There is one Solo place, and while it is taken nothing else is for sale.
What that works out to: Featured is about €3 for every thousand times the line is seen. A banner on a general website costs €1 to €3 per thousand and is mostly not looked at; a sponsorship in a newsletter costs €20 to €40. We have put a line that sits in the middle of what somebody is reading at the bottom of that range, and we would rather you check the arithmetic than take our word for it.
Three months at once: 10% off. A year: 20% off. Prices are excluding VAT. You get an invoice from Hertge VOF and pay by bank transfer; inside the EU with a valid VAT number the VAT is reverse-charged. Month to month, no contract, cancel by not renewing.
Country targeting, at no extra cost
We know which country a visitor is in before the page is built, so your line can be shown only where you sell. Name the countries and we set it up. It costs nothing extra, and it means you are not paying for attention you cannot use.
What we will not take
We would rather say this up front than argue about it later. We do not accept:
- Gambling, casinos and betting
- Adult content
- Selling followers, likes or engagement
- Essay and thesis writing services
- Binary options, trading signals and crypto schemes
- Anything that needs a visitor to hand over a password
And one thing you should know before you write: every
sponsor link carries rel="nofollow sponsored", as Google requires of paid
links. If you are buying a backlink, this is not the place. If you are buying attention
from people who are reading, it is.
How it works
- You write to us with what you sell, the line you want (about 70 characters), the link it should point to, and the countries and the number of months.
- We answer within two working days, and say yes or no plainly.
- You get an invoice. Your line goes live once it is paid.
- Each month we send you the number of views and the number of clicks. If it did not work for you, do not renew - there is no contract to get out of.
